I made com­ments to a post on War­rior Queen’s blog (now blog­ging as Lilith Katz) that were prob­a­bly mis­un­der­stood. How­ever her response also made it very clear to me that there many forms of sur­viv­ing sur­vival. All of us han­dle our sur­vival in our own man­ner. Some con­front the threat, some avoid the threat, some run from the threat, some bla­tantly attack the threat, some laugh at the threat. Any approach is appro­pri­ate so long as it is appro­pri­ate for the sur­vivor. Another should not ques­tion an individual’s choice.
