One of the more interesting problems I worked on when I was still doing academic research was a solution to a bound-state three-body problem. I won’t bore you with any more details. It was very well received research both for the quantum mechanical behaviors predicted and mathematical methods to approximate the solution. So when I ran across this comic on xkcd I had a great chuckle and just had to share.
