About Your Age

1163978 37406429 e1276348102605 About Your AgeStill Here Too recently celebrated a birthday. It was something of a milestone. Is Still Here will shortly celebrate the same number of annual passings. You see he married an older woman.

There are two ways to look at your age. The first, you can feel bad you are that old. If you choose this one, be prepared to feel really, really bad because there is nothing you can do about it. The second, you can feel grateful you made it! Given what has happened to the two of us, this really seems like a more appropriate way to view the whole birthday thing.

Happy Birthday to Still Here and expected birthday to you! Good to know SHE robbed the craddle for a change.

I love everyday that brings another sunrise. We begin dying a day at a time from the moment we’re born, so hang on and revel in each stage of your life.

I try not to look back or ahead, but remain focused on the joys that “this” moment brings. Your blog is part of that joy.

Yes, Happy Birthday! May your older woman teach a young dog new tricks?
