It is easy to for­get when the aches and pains of mul­ti­ple decades start to add up, but we should all remem­ber that there is still a child inside and we should let it out from time to time.

Of course we should also remem­ber it is a lot longer fall to the floor, none of us bounce as well as we used to, the floor is one hell of a lot harder than it used to be, but laugh­ing and gig­gling is still great, and thank good­ness the dogs get worn out play­ing tag just as fast as we do!

    Real, unabashed belly laugh­ter is too often left as we age. We become self-conscious, even embar­rassed if we enjoy some­thing too much. Laugh­ter keeps us young, as does remem­ber­ing and try­ing to see life as we did as a child — with won­der and delight.
